I've got an idea but never really had to do it.
I looked in a manual for my Miata and it mentions removing the hub and doing it on a press.
Is this necessary?
For some reason I always thought you could pound it with a hammer (like driving a nail) and it'd pop out the back. Then you insert the new stud and lighten a lug nut on it down to the rotor and torque till it pulls the stud tight into the hub hole.
Just need to take off the brake right?
