how to remove the bug deflector off of 2011 GT

Hi All,
I just picked up a used 2011 GT. It came with a bug deflector with a partial corner cracked off. Anyway, I want to remove it but can't figure it out. It doesn't appear to be screwed in. It looks more like it's got a snap clamp that is on these rubber pads. I tried putting a flat blade screw driver in but couldn't pop it open - I didn't use much force either for fear of...well, the unknown. Maybe I'm suppose to apply more pressure? Anyway, if anyone can tell me how to remove it that'd be great. Or even if anyone has pdf install instructions that I can reverse the steps and get it off that way.

I am sure you can find the installation instructions of deflector on this forum.
Then, you would know how to uninstall it.

exactly. but oddly enough i couldn't find it anywhere. i did a thorough google search too. no luck. could be me. if anyone has a link please post. thanks!
