I just got myself a autoexe replica grill and I was wondering how do you put a mesh grill on it? I mean, do you use somethign to stick on it or what?

Thanks

I bought a new lower grill for $30.00 from the dealer. Then I cut it to fit in my autoexe. looks great IMO. Ill look for pics.

Youll need bondo for the mesh grill.

Pics arent very good, and I have since flipped the black grill over so it is more noticeable and the louvre direction is downward, if that makes any sense.

Looking great.

Do you think it will damage the inside if I dont' put a grill?

i ran mine with nothing for like a month. No ill effects. Actually looks tough, butyou can see silver from the condenser. If you spraypainted black in there, it would look great with no mesh.

i just gotta autoexe grill insert but i need to get it repainted before installing it..

Definitely don't run without the lower or upper. I already had a rock pierce the AC condensor behind the lower one (had factory mesh there too!). Cost me $600 from the dealer :(

Also, I just had a baseball or some big round thing go clean through the upper factory grill mesh. Luckily it hit the horn! Would have wrecked the radiator.

Damn Atlanta traffic!

I just ordered the round mesh from Matrix to replace the black factory plastic mesh. What I can't figure out is how to attach it. Epoxy? Also, do I need to remove the whole front bumper to replace the bottom mesh?
