do you think i'll be safe using the 500 degree paint i used on my valve cover to paint my heat shield?

Mind my messI am replacing that blue hose with a matching red one this weekend. The heatshield is the next thing to get hit by the spraycan. Anyone else not like the plug layout on the 3gen cars?
