How to kill the door chime, anyone?

Does anyone know how to kill the door chime?

Oh good question, maybe the seatbelt ding as well? Used to be a simple plug-in module, something tells me these new cars are more hardwired. Hopefully someone knows for sure.

I hope so, that door chime is so ******* annoying. I might be able to understand if it was for any door that may be ajar not just the drivers but, it's not, it's just the ******* drivers' door. I seriously think I would know if my door was not closed all the way I do not need a chime to tell me this, the idiot light on the dash is just fine thank you very much.

The dealer can turn off the seat belt chime for you... not sure if they can turn off the door chime as well.
