How-To: Home Depot (HD) Lip

hmm the rear diffuser dosent look that bad, for being the first time ive seen this i thought it was going to look funky

yea i was thinking it was going to be overkill, but turns out it may be the next mod people will end up doing

looks good, is there something up with the hood, it looks high where it meets the windshield.

i got my hood tilted....my car runs so much cooler.Besides, it' the only way my turbo is going to fit under my hood. because it is top mounted and plus since my manifold fits t25 and the turbo is a t3/t4. i had to buy an adapter to fit it.

i was gonna do the cf. just try it. people said it would look bad but i disagree

Just wondering, is anyone doing this mod WITHOUT screwing into there bumper? I know most people have, and most members discuss which kinds of screws and how many to use but I just picked up my MS6 and I was wondering if it was possible to pull it off successfully without screws. Is anyone running there cars without screws? Does it stay on? Or does it flap around at high speeds?

I have mine on by just putting all 4 screws in..

If you get the double sided tape to adhere well you would be fine without the screws I think..

If for some reason you don't screw it on and it happens to come off atleast its a cheap fix..

I just did mine today. I had some leftover black caliper spray paint from my buddy's Mustang we did last week, so I used that to paint one side of the 3M tape roll so the leading edge didn't stick out like a sore thumb. I also used 11 pop rivets with washers (also painted black) instead of the self-tapping screws. Came out pretty excellent.

put mine on about two weeks ago on speed6 been on streets highways everything and looks perfect

just 3m double stick tape no screws
