how to get into strong man comps?

i love watching the world's strongest man competitions on espn all the time, i'm just curious how one goes about getting into those competitions. obviously i'd have to put on a few pounds before entering, if i ever did, but let's say i start training now and in a few years am big enough. where does one go to get started?
