So since Im selling the car, I decided to have a bit of fun tonight, and go do a few runs at my local strip (just a road we found)...anyways, I did three passes, pretty hard ones, and I was just wondering how well the clutch should hold up. I let it out at like 2500-2800 rpms like 3 times, and then was romping through the gears. The car has 30k on it, and never had the clutch dropped before this because Im so damn anul about it lol...

so just wondering about the wear because I dont want the clutch to be fried for the next owner.

They are strong like s***.
I have 40K and I'm wearing 3rd clutch kit now.
1st was slipped because of tranny, dropped a bit (RMM bracket rubber silent-block was shut), so I made our dealership to change it by warranty, at first they were trying to tell me I would pay the whole price, but then I showed them dropped tranny, so they agreed that there is their fault they didn't mention it earlier.
Second was weared out just by a week of hard autocross and starts from 2-3 K. I had no warranty at that point and I really wanted to have ACT clutch and flywheel. So I decided to wear it out, LOL :)

I am at 53k right now, and my clutch feels like new. still very good.

I have also done several drag runs with the car with no issues outside of wheelhop, which is well documented with this car. It's not a drag car, so don't bother.

If you are experienced driving a stick, you will have good results with this clutch . I don't anticipate needing a clutch until well past 100k miles.

44K and my clutch still feels solid. But I also have never tracked it or done any serious driving with it. Just spirited driving around town, and the occasional WOT runs onto the highway. If you drive the car into the ground, and add in more power with mods, expect the clutch to go sooner than later.
