How much power would this make?

Rofl. Its not about the numbers right away. Its about the total numbers grouped together. Like your end result once your satisfied with tuning your car. Who cares about 10whp. No one. People care about 50+ Get a turbo and then we will talk.

my next major mod would be a new car after I graduate instead of a turbo, given I can afford one.

I care about 10whp. My car baselined at 110.9whp, and it did the 1/4 in 16.3. After taking 150lbs out of the car, and putting down 117.2whp, my car ran a 15.7. Mind you, my car is light to begin with and just a little hp makes a difference, but when you're doing an all-motor build, 10whp is a BIG gain.

No its not a BIG gain. All motor cars produce alot of power. When your going for an ALL motor build, you look at the END result. Because in the END...thats what matters. (2thumbs)

i think what gen was referring to was that each step in building an NA engine is important. you cant get too many 10whp gains with NA

That's exactly what I meant. Any particular mod that gets your 10whp NA, is a BIG gain. There are only a few times that'll happen. Exhaust, headwork, cams. Other than those 3, it's 3hp here, 6 there, 2 here etc. My RX7 AFM got me 2.5whp. Ignition tuning got me 7whp. Exhaust(without header) was 5.

not anything to brag about really, you will see a VERY slight increase response and power but... you won't be beating a stock protege by 5 car lengths or anything
