Some dealers near me have accepted trades on cars w/modifications. A great example is a buddy's white p5. It had a header, intake, exhaust, various appearance mods, etc etc etc. I don't remember how much they gave him; but I do remember he got a great deal towards an RX-8.

It depends on way mods are done, and wat day are. Many dealers see ricers dat want to trade in a pos so dey are apprensive. Many also want to lowball of course. (I used to work at a dealer)

throw it on ebay with a reserve of like 25000 and just see how high the offers get to. or put an ad in the auto trader and start at a really high sell price and see if you get offers. i paid 10,500 for my p5 with 40k and stock. really clean though.
