well you guys...just in comparison..before any tickets..only thing i coud get on the spot was MAIF(maryland automobile insurance fund)..i was 18, no tickets, brand new 2003 protege lx - 444.00 a month FULL COVERAGE...now, after getting numerous tickets and acting a fool my early adulthood(16-19), it's really ****** me..when i got insurance last year for my 1993 ford taurus, they saw on the record, 1 accident(not at fault) and 13 points, for a total of 470.00 a month, LIABILITY..bad huh?? the pro isnt even tagged or insured yet...

SO, come march(my renewal time...) i have all of this to look forward to. I'll be 22, i'll be off my provisional lisence finally, i'll be off my t0-from work lisence, and i'll be in carroll county, rather then baltimore county. AND i'll only have showing 2 points....my insurance, for both cars, full coverage, is going to roughly be about 150.00 a month

damn 440$!!! s*** ya there was a point when I was right around 17 that I got 7 tickets in less than 4 months so yeah they all came from when I was a little younger except the wreckless drivng. . . that happend on june 06 of this year. . I had a 2002 nissan spec v (black motegi ff7 wheels, nismo cold air intake, apexi n1 exhaust, tuning pros 2.5 in catless downpipe, nismo header, skunk 2 springs, and a 75 shot zex nitrous (wet) ) anyways a 350z pulled up to me and started talkin s*** to me (and I hate it when people talk s*** for no reason!) well anyways I tried to avoid him but he kept nagging me so I agreed to race him. . . so I open my bottle (remote bottle opener kit) we go from a rolling start at 20 mph and three honks later we both take off. . . well I didnt know the street very well and we got about a quarter mile down the road and I see a stop sign about 40 feet from me. . I have no chance of stopping because now im pushing over 80 mph in a 35 mph zone but I try slamming on my breaks anyways so he flies in front of me and I almost hit him so I swerve to the right (because It turned ino a one lane road each way) and lose control , go up on the curb, take out two signs then slam into a brick mailbox at a little over 45 mph both airbags deploy and the car is completly mangled!!! but ya thats my story just figure id share with you guys!!! and thats how I wound up with my MSP!!!

Allstate- $218 a month with full coverage on the MP3 and 88 Monte Carlo SS. Just got the renewal in the mail and saves $50+ a month.. Yeah Allstate... I have on accident on file, not at fault but still there. Progressive raw dogged me in the ass so I switched over to Allstate and it is soo much cheaper.. PLUS I am in NYC so insurance is alittle more expensive.

Only time i used insurance was when my car got broken into..and when i ran into a ditch..(i guess this could be one accident)

I pay $290/ month for full coverage even when the car is in my dad's name and i'm insured under his name. (and the 'good student discount'!)

I think Farmers is ripping me off because I think $290 for a 4 banger/4 door sedan is some bullchit!

However I never got around to get quotes from other insurances until now..actually my sister is going to do that -_-;;;

I pay 135/mth for my wife and I. I am 22 and she is 21 full coverage on both and we have a 3rd car on there just liabilty on that 3rd car. I am getting a killer deal

Just so you guys know its really hard to compare insurance rates since many states and provinces have different insurance systems, not to mention there are soooo many variables that influence rates. I'm an insurance broker and I have plenty of people ask me why is there buddy with 2 accidents paying less, etc, so many variables.

wow... I screwed myself, no one else to blame... I got like 6 tickets (6 in the last 3 years, about 12 total), 1 accident, with my old car, slight fender bender, but the people were assholes. I pay 185/month, min insurance and i'm 25, it just droped from 256/month... full insurance would be arround 350 or so all canadian.

keep in mind that if your family has assets that they need to have even more coverage in case some ahole decides to sue them over an accident. Im 18/m/ca/p5 and i pay about 180 a mo.
