Don't expect anything really..As soon as the engine heats up..Your Fan will be kickin hot air directly into the intake!

Which actually translates into loss of HP!

You will see some gains

Nothing major but if you are familiar with the engine and car the way it is now...you will notice an improvement...The heat thing is too hard to factor in...If you live in an area that is warm during the day and colder during the night...that can make the difference in heat soak....at 50* the intake will be sucking much cooler air than the same intake at 90*...and that can make a big difference...which would make a difference with the stock intake too...

the only real benefit to the SRI is the filter element, which is much better than stock, and the larger area is displaces...it can suck in much more air, regardless of temp, than the stock intake overall...Don't expect massive gains, but regardless of temperature you will see 1 or possibly 2 with the intake alone...

The total gains are unknown, mostly becuase of that exhuast...I know nothing about it...The website's flow diagrams make it appear to be extremely restrictive, but who know on how valid those diagrams actually are...And remember in the automotive aftermarket there is no such thing as "too good to be true"...that website makes that muffler appear to be "too good to be true" which is reason enough for me to stay away until it's validity is proved...

agree

I say about 20+hp if you add Ultra White bulbs and some DC Sports stickers. Don't forget to paint your windshield wipers!

when i had my car dynoed with the aem short ram and a custom exhaust with the stock mp3 muffler... i gained 7whp and 14lbft

Ahhm... I just watched the promo for that muffler... Looks a little questionable... What does it sound like? Seems like something of a gimick, kinda like the Tornado (tm) fuel saver. Hehee...

Just for s**** and giggles the muffler sounds awesome. A few people after hearing mine, like my boss and another guy that was at the shop waiting to here mine before he bought one, decided to get the same one.

I can't say I felt a huge difference in power, but what do you expect from just a muffler?

For the record, I'm very satisfied with it. My wife loves the sound (this is very important) and it looks sweet on my car. I'll take some pics today and post them to give you guys a better idea.

And about the horsepower question......goes to show that no one really know how much horsepower you will actually gain from these mods. Only the dyno will tell.

I live at 7000 feet, so it won't run as good as someone who's at sea level.

hey bryan, not to jack thread but how do you like those progress springs? do they sag or are they good?

JOhnjay5, I really like my springs. As far as I know, they're not sagging at all. They lowered the car nicely and it's handling great.

I installed them myself and they only cost about 160.

I'll have to pull the magazine, but they did some tests on about 4-5 cars and the only mods they did were to put CAI's and a catback. They all averaged a gain of about 11 horsepower. No kidding. I'll find the mag today and post which one it was.
