How much for window tint?

Hey everyone, I'm ready to beat this summer heat by getting a tint. I want to go with 20%, something dark enough during the day and, light enough at night. I just got quoted $199 for all 7 windows (front, back, back rear, rear). Is this a good price for LLumar brand tint? I've tried searching the Yellow pages but everywhere I called charged me $250+ with SolarGuard or Soltek tint something like that. Anyone in SD that can recommend a shop because I really want to make an appointment soon.

dont know if you're around 626 area code, but i got all my windows tinted for 120 at california tint

All I have to say is HOT SPOT on Broadway, Chula Vista, San Diego. $145 out the door for all windows except front windshield and sunroof. Highly recommend, not a ghetto run down garage, 1 very cool owner Danny Isabella. 10%, beautiful job. He chopped a piece a little too short, not noticeable at all, really tiny, but for $145 you can't complain.

Looks good but 10% is freakin dark at night if backing up. It's especially hard trying to parallel park, before I knew how close to get without hitting the car behind me, but now I have to be extra cautious especially with my rims. I'll try to post up a pic of my new stunna shades.

250-300 is the best price you'll find for QUALITY tint job with a true life-time warranty...

For example... My car was done with what i've been told and read is the best s*** on the market... FormulaOne tint... Comes with lifetime warranty.. A T-shirt... and a credit-card type thing you put in your wallet or glove box.. which contains all the information about the tint.. phone numbers to call if you have problems with it.. bla bla bla...

All FormulaOne shops are required to use laser/machine cut tint... And clean-rooms for install...

ANYWAY... in most castes, if you don't know someone, or don't have special favors being handed out.. paying 150 for tint... gives you a 150 quality job... I'd suggest looking around find a shop that offers 300-400 and all the life-time goodies...

well my tint came out nicely, just a few tiny bubbles that haven't dried up yet but I snapped a few pics outside. Mine came with a life-time warranty but not a t-shirt so I guess that's why it was probably $145. I wouldn't spend anywhere near 300-400 just for tint. I mean I don't know how long "Hot Spot" will be there but most small shops close down anyways. Nothing lasts forever. So for those of you wondering how 10% looks, there you go.

Oh and I took a shot of the interior just to give you an idea of how dark it is during the day. It's better in person though, so go get yours done.
