How much can I fit in a Mazda?

My grandma has a Mazda 5 and I'm wondering if it would be large enough to transport an item that is 6' x 2' x 2', maybe with the seats removed? What do you think?

Oops! Feet, sorry about that. 6' x 2' x 2'.

I'd say no problem, but take some rope to tie the hatch down just in case it doesn't.

6' won't be a problem IF you put the front pass seat all the way fwd and lean it fwd too. I have run 8' 2X4s down the center aisle all the time and they don't interfere with the gearshift (much) If you need to carry a passenger (or 2) have them sit in the drivers side passenger seats.

Oh, and the seats don't come out. That's one of the best things about the 5. All that room and no inconvenient seat removal.
