how much are you paying for gas?

i guess if ur comparing prices to everywhere else, i agree in that sense but some places by me have gone up 30 cents in 6 days. I know indefinately its not going to rise, but at any rate it rises to much to quickly, i mean 5 cents a day? come on. it still makes my wallet sad.

i didnt mean to sound like a dick either lol

Yeah it does kinda suck, but I really want our gas to keep going up. Maybe that will be some motivation for those retarded jackasses buying H2's to take the kids to soccer practice to stop and think about what morons they are.

Yesterday I pumped half a tank before I realized it was 2.49. This is for regular. In Alabama. That's a lot here. I can't wait until I move to seattle and upgrade to premium at the same time. That should be a nice shock.

NY it is around $2.49 for regular and NJ about $2.20. Almost makes the 40 mile round trip to the NJ border worth it (but not quite) :-)

Of copurse public transportation over there is so much better than here. There is absolutely no way I could go to work and home via publica transportation, at all. And throughout the US, public transportation is subpar with the EU. So drive we must.

Wow, I can't believe people are moaning about the price of gas. In the UK, where I moved from, it's well over $7 a gallon at the current exchange rates.
It's about time something started persuading the average American to make fuel efficiency a top proirity (as it has been in most European countries for a long while...)

you know whose pocket this is all going into.......definately not the soldiers who have died in vane in Iraq and surrounding countries........lets end the madness already.

It's obviously not going into the pocket of educators either. Wouldn't it be nice if people who aren't smart enough to use a dictionary didn't try to make wise ass comments about politics, and furthermore choose the country's political leaders?

Gas prices are crazy. You hear about some minister getting shot in Iraq and gas prices go up a few cents the next day. But then you hear about the Iraqi Constitution being drafted and being voted on our election day (good things) and the price of gas doesn't drop. Now thats some bs. What the hell would cause a barrel of gas to go up over $10 in three weeks and double in a little over a year? It is so gay that the price is all based on speculation, all the rich ass guys on wallstreet are assuming something is gonna happen to the gas supply. Well just leave the price the way it is until something does happen. I wish I lived in Wyoming for the cheap gas.

True. You all need to do a little more research on top of your daily CNN watching. Truth is 90% of the media is liberal and against the war for false reasons.... then they spout off their agenda to the american public, relaying this bogus crap as actual facts. I have friends over in Iraq right now and all three of them tell me they couldn't find a way to be more proud than they are now for what they are doing. 95% of the people over there love the soldiers, and are glad we are changing their lives for the better and changing the worlds situation for the better. The fact that the battle ground is a oil field doesn't mean we are there for oil.. and we have obviously not benefited from it at all.. so obviously that isn't the case. Freedom isn't free guys, and remember the millions of people that were affected by 9/11, better to have the war there than here. Best defense is a good offense, so I say keep beating the s*** outa them rather than taking it up the ass.

$2.81 for 89 yesterday....least i got good milage on my 285 mile trip yesterday (33.52 MPG).

am going to VT today to look at some ski places i want to rent for the winter and hope i get some good milage again.....man, i am going to spend well over $50 on gas this weekend on driving......

Thats so true that our media gives mainly one view point...one of the reasons i try to stay away from it. Unless you actually work in the heart of the govt and deal with with this s*** directly no one is really going to know the whole truth behind what is going on over there. I'm just a little tired of the fact that we(USA) spend lots of our money and time helping other countries when we have lots of problems here that should be dealt with first.....how can you help others if you can't help yourself. I have a friend who is going to be sent over soon and I'd like to see he come home as I'm sure others feel the same way about their family and friends.

It's funny how everyone is blaming the middle east yet no one blames the gas companies themselves who are reporting record profits.

Paid 2.49/gal - 93 octane in San Antonio. Put had to pay 2.87/gal - 93 octane 60miles west of Houston yesterday.
