how many?

how many miles or kilometers can you get out of a full tank of gas? please be specific if your mileage is in kilometers or miles... i've had my p5 now for a week and a half.... went through two tanks of gas so far and got about 500 kilometers of gas from each tank.... its combined city and highway from both tanks..... how much are you guys getting?

i get around 400 miles.

thats mixed highway and city. im also 19 and have the thing floored most of the time. and 85+ on the highway. i know it would be better if i slow down a bit.

How does that compared to kilometers?

only 320 @ 12 gallons, just filled up this afternoon. A lot of hard accelerating and freeway punching it. First fill up in august I got 370.

well i drive about 40 on a round trip to my college. thats 4 days, and then whatever i do during the weekend which is probably another 30 so i drive around 190 miles a week and still have half a tank left.

and i have gotten a 46mph over posted speed before(hand) so i have a heavy foot

lets just say the cop was not very happy when i said i didnt know why he pulled me over. lol

I have gotten 380 miles out of one tank, but I never run it past E, once the gauge gets to the last tick I fill up. I got 27 mpg that tank, too.

2.0L Pro ES over 30,000mi:
-single fill-up fuel economy range = 28-31mpg (low = 24mpg, high = 34mpg)
-range (fill-up as soon as possible when fuel light turns on) = 340-370mi (low = 290mi, high ~400mi)

dam 400? i got lucky the other day and got 390 and i had like .5 gallons left lol
i filled up 12.5 gallons so i know that s*** was empty

my average is around 380-370 miles

I can do 400 miles to a tank doing 70 on the highway the whole time.

300-350 miles per tank with a 50/50 mix of highway and city/spirited driving. ;)

It REALLY depends on my driving patterns. My last road trip, I got 425 miles out of 12.5 gallons. Generally I see about 280-320 miles out of 3/4 tank, which is when I almost always fill up. My MPG ranges, by my rough estimate, from 25.7 MPG - 31.5 MPG, just depends on how many extra in-town trips I take and how heavy my foot is.

wow.... you guys are getting pretty good numbers... like i said i've only had my p5 for a week and a half.... im only getting 500 kilometers which works out to about 311 miles.... what can i do to improve my mileage?.... ive been driving the car as easy as i can to see what the most i can get and everyone that replied so far are getting better mileage and driving harder...... what can i do to improve those numbers?

stock wheels/tires? do you carry a lot of heavy stuff? mods?

Check your tuneup items, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, vac hoses, O2, etc. Maybe alignment and tire pressure.

I think most car makers shoot for 300~350 miles per tank and it looks like we're all there with the proteges. I may kick back to my hypermiling methods (when gas was $4.50) and try to get above 400 miles on 12 gallons. Though it quadruples the use of the starter unless I get in a rhythm of pop starting which is highly traffic dependent. Found out yesterday that the light comes on (then turns off if I turn) almost right at 12 gallons.
