When I moved here from Fl. They constantly harrassed the wife re: her tint (it was 5% on the back and rear). I just drove from Erie, Pa to Worcester, Ma. (500mi) and no ticket (*knocking on wood*)but there were alot of cops in Ny. and Ma..splitvizion said:I just got a ticket the other day for my windows being to dark. What was bulls*** is that the cops that pulled me over got me coming off of the highway into the town that I live in. So they were state cops that were carrying around a tint meter. Not town cops. The town cops could give a s*** but these asshole staties have to pull me for some bulls***. They kept asking me why my center dash piece was not their and where the HU was. I told them why and it was like they didn't believe me. They kept asking me questions about when I got the car and again why was my dash apart. I had just worked 12hours and I was very irritated to say the least. I was about to tell him to **** off and give me my ticket. It took two cop cars to pull me. What kind of s*** is that. I think that is why PA is in such debt. They have too many cops out their that don't have any thing to do but pull people and call for backup in a little ass country town.
Yeah 20%Any advise on the %?
Think about how pissed he will be when he finds out the fact that you lied.BoBByHH said:got a ticket for doing 87 in a 55.
i was so stupid, the cop was following me right behind (cauz i was going for 80), and i couldnt notice it, it was 11:30 p.m.
i have to pay 320 !!!!!!!!!
omg!!!!!!
im only 17 and just got my license 2 months ago. My parents gonna kill me. i didnt tell them yet. it all happened 3 days ago...
im thinking about keeping it secret, and paying it for myself. but i dont know if my dad will notice it when paying the insurance bill. damn!!!!

Believe me that is a bad idea. Just tell your dad or if you have a friend that his father is a police officer he can do the favor to void the ticket.from BoBByHH said:im thinking about keeping it secret, and paying it for myself.
Guyfromhe said:It depends what the mistake was... usually the court will try to amend it unless they really want to let you off..
the judge gets to decide wether they can amend the ticket or not, at least thats the way it works here...

i sent them the window sticker but they took too long to reconsider so i financed
through scotia bank at 5.75%.
