I would say that it is more of a beer you drink with dinner or something you just chill with while watching a game. Sam Adams in the same way... If your like me you dont buy these beers if your looking to get drunk because well a 20 of southpaw is only 12.99 or 13.99 along with natty ice.jersey_emt said:Why does everybody say that? I'd say 10 to get me a little buzzed around 20 and I'm nice, and like 24+ I will be damn drunk off my ass. Oh, and I like Tuborg, and then Super Bock(from Portugal but tastes different than the one's sold in Portugal), then Sam Adams.
But I rarely only drink just beer, I usually mix. The worst night I had was when I drank about 12 beers(Tuborg), 10 shots of Tequilla, 3 shots strawberry vodka, 5 glasses of Absinto(very strong liquor in europe never saw it here) with orange juice(3/4 cup liquor, 1/4 cup OJ like a screwdriver) , 3 jacks and coke, and a few other random drinks and sips. Lets just say I will NEVER drink that much EVER again.

well i am in college right now, so i drink quite often. i usually have to ask other ppl how much i drank the next day. but all in all i have a pretty low tolerancefor beer. about 10 (anything like bud, natty ice, miller) and everyone will tell you im drunk, but its not till 13+ that i realize i am. for liquor thats a different story, i handle that alot better for some reason( maybe its the taste, i hate the taste os beer until im drunk), but it always hits me harder the next morning. Give me 3 "Weekend at Charter"s and im spent!(braindead also my invention and Favorite drink A "Dewmeister" (mountain dew and Jagermeister)
Word. Sounds like most of us are on the same page. Generally at the bar I am drinking jack and coke and Newcastle. If there is no Newcastle then it is Sam Adams Seasonal or Bass.
I like scotch too but most people wont drink it. Glen Livett can often be found on my bar tab.

my record is 45 beers in a day....me and my buddy used to keep the beer caps in our pocket after every one, and the next morning find out how many we drank...i can definitely hold a lot of liquor in me...i would go through fifths of JD like it was water...but i have learned my lesson by now and only drink every once in a while, and my tolerance has lowered...but i definitely think i can still take a 30 pack....

Down in Newport RI my buddy got a smart bomb actually he had 3. They keep the glass on a lighted pedestal. It was just a huge car bomb. 3 pints of Guiness and 6 shots. He got a free t-shirt and then he threw up in the bar. (I think he had taken a few Klotopins too so that may have had something to do with it.)

Yeah it's illegal here because one of the ingredients (wormwood) is a mild hallucinogen.

I myself have a ridiculous tolerance, I can drink just about anything and only get buzzed. My stomach gets full before I actually get drunk. The only time I ever had a memory lapse was on my 21st birthday. I attempted 21 shots but only got to 19 while drinking 8 beers in the process in a little under 2 hours. The night proceeded as a urinated on a Hallmark Store door and smacked a lot of girls asses and broke a couple beer bottles, then slept on a random person's front lawn. I loved college.
Present day, I drink a lot of whiskey/scotch and try to stick to the Jager and Irish car bombs. The girlier stuff is what actually gets me sick. I'm a big fan of Jack and Coke or Jameson and Sprite. Beer is good on occasion and I have to say Amstel Light is right up there with the best of tehm.
