It seems like an accident thread pops up every other day in one section or another, so I wanted to start this thread to see how many actual accidents there have been among everyone here on the Protege forums. Just post your stories and pictures if you have any. I'll start.

Mine ended up being $4804.17 in damages.

Heres the first time my car was in an accident. I was sideswiped by a drunk woman. There was $2000.00 worth of damages...this was 3 years ago and I am still finding stuff wrong with it from that accdient. It was never fixed properly.

naw man, I never really looked for him. My insurance only went up 15 dollars a month when i bought my gsr, plus i really dont think I would've been able to find him

Well, you're a better man that I. I would have spent as much time and money as it took to find that sonuvabitch. I couldn't forgive something like that. Nothing pisses me off more than hit and run drivers (same principle applies in this case). No, I take that back, drunk drivers piss me off more, and people that drive while reading a book, typing on their laptop in the passenger seat, putting on their makup, talking on their cell phones, and playing the X-box in the dash

Rear-ended a Z71 tahoe going less than 20km/h (airbags didn't go off). Small dent in Tahoe's bumper, $6500 worth on my ride. Accident started because a pedestrian ran out into the street, it was a chain reaction and I had to curb the car to avoid the bike-rack on the tahoe.

it's funny that you start a thread like this... my accident happened like 1 hour ago... and a f-150 hit us too... but it was my sister driving.

i was sitting where the accident came... the f-ing car hit us at 80 km/h... i though it was my last day in this world. lucky seven (god) saved me.

Jesus Christ man! Thank god you're ok. You are one lucky dude. Anyway, your airbags would have done more damage than help in that case. They're designed only to go off if you get hit from the front, not the side. Unless oyu have sideair bags? If you do, I'd be talkin to Mazda Legal with a crick in my neck Sorry to make jokes, but it's n idea. Hopefully everybody's ok and your car will be replaced quickly and easily and all that stuff.

This isn't my P5, but here is my Accord I totaled about a year and a half before I got my P5. Was on the freeway and went to change lanes, just as I looked over my shoulder the Suburban in front of me slammed on his brakes and I went rear ended it going about 50. I hit the Suburban with enough force to push it into the Explorer in front of it. Totaled my Accord and did about $9500 in damage to the Suburban and Explorer. Since my Accord was lowered, I was fortunate the Suburban had a trailer hitch on it, otherwise I might have gone all the way under to the rear wheels.

I totaled it right before the LA Auto Show in 2001. I went to the Auto Show and saw the P5 for the first time and fell in love with it. I ended up getting a civic, which I hated, then finally got my 2003.5 P5. Here it is, sorry about the quality, taken with my phone. All in all, not a bad trade up. (spin)

Sorry about your ride Blown (boom06) ,hope your ok man. Are you going to get it fixed? I don't have any pics of my but so far I've been hit on the drives side and I hit a cement wall doing about 90km/h.

girl pulled infront of me while i was going strait, she was going the opposite direction turning left (infront of me)

kinda felt sorry for her, she was on her way to a job interview.. no one was hurt, both cars, were supposed to be totaled but the dumb ass at the body shop thought it was better to fix it, ended up costing that shitface 4 grand ontop of repairs for warrenty, problems still keep poping up
