How loud would this be?

How loud would a Polk MM10 enclosed sub (http://polkaudio.com/car/product.php?name=mm10) and an MTX Thunder342 amp (http://mtx.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/thunder342.cfm) be in a P5? I am probably going to get this but I wanted to make sure it would be as loud as I want. Thanks.

need more amp power. There's no way that amp will cut it for you...you can also do *a lot* better for the money.

if its loud enough for you is only able to be determined by you. for my daily driver i just run with a 10 and around 150 watts. for me thats enough. u can hear it and feel it with the window down in my grand am. wether it would be loud enough for you is something only u can answer.

most everyone on here know's i'm the last person to recomend JL, but that's cause of the price, NOT the quality or capabilities of their equipment. if you are going to ask a question like that, you might want to have some good hard facts to prove that JL is NOT so good.

thats pretty ridiculous.

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) if you expose yourself to 85 decibels of sound in the so-called A-weighted zone (that means mostly AUDIBLE) for 8 hours a day, five days a week for 10 years you are at considerable risk for some hearing loss. For 90 decibels, there is a 4 hours limit, 95 dB 2 hours, 100 dB 1 hour, 105 dB 1/2 hour, 110 dB 15 minutes, 120 dB 7.5 minutes, 125 3 and 3/4 minutes..you get the idea. Certain sounds (gun fire, artillery, jet or rocket engines, can cause instant hearing loss or deafness)if you are close enough to them.

i dont even think rocket artillery is 200db.

i dont htink that would be loud enough for me.. im running a jl 12w6v2 that i got for around $300 and a jbl 600.1 that i got for like $180.. and its almost too loud.. but its all in the eye of the beholder.. also remember if you have a p5.. you are basically driving a sub box around. -=P

why do you think JL is no good? they have some realy nice stuff... I agree with got wake? you need some reasons. the only thing JL is kinda expensive.. but I dont think their stuff is really that high priced. they sound great, look great, dont need alot of power, and can work in a small enclosure. I have one jL sub in the turnk (not the hatch.) and most people want to know how many subs I have.
