How is this parts combo?

I just got my Mazdspeed3 a few days ago, and after ALOT of reading I just purchased my first parts. I got a HKS ssbov, a cpe intake, and a exedy engine managment system with a Protege Garage plug n play harness. Will these parts work well together? It says the XEDY comes with a program that (from what I have read) works really well without any dyno tuning. I have not done anything to the exhaust yet but that will be next on the list, I just wanted to start under the hood and work my way back as time and money permits. I just switched from a 450rwhp Sonic Blue Termi, but the gas was killing me, yet I still want a bit more power out of the speed 3. The one thing I am worrying about is the things I have read in these forums about the trouble people have been having with these cars. I do not run my cars hard and I maintain them well, but there seems to be a awful lot of stuff floating around from gunked up intake runners, to leaking turbo seals, all the way up to blown engines. I know I have already screwed my waranty with these parts, but I am willing to take responsibility for the problems I cause, but I just don't like the issues that I have not caused that people seem to be having.

Just make sure all the TSB have been adressed. This will clear up the leaky turbo seals, broken motor mount, and blown motor.

The the terminator is one of my favorite cars of all times, and in Sonic blue, it doesnt get any better than that, such a beautiful color, especially for the 03/04 Cobra... you are/were a lucky man. A buddy of mine has a DSG 03, and well, as you know, bolts ons alone make them rediculously quick.

You should have fewer problems with the MS3 than you had with the Cobra. Or if you managed to keep that running good the whole time, the MS3 should be a walk in the park.

Sounds like you are off to a good start. By XEDY, you mean XEDE, right?

Yes, that is what I meant. I am in a whole new world of new parts with new names. The Termi's are great cars, my 12th mustang since I was 15, and I have had plenty of fox bodies and even a brand new '06...that I traded for my Termi, but they had a host of problems as you mentioned, however I had my car gone through before I bought it, with my speed 3 it is practically new, and the problems don't seem to start happening until a little later down the road. While I had to have my Termi de tuned to make civilized power I have come to realize that power in these cars are not as hard to come by as I thought, it just takes a little more time and money. 300whp should be good goal for now.
