I can understand that too little and too much offset can change the handling on a car, but is the difference between a 43mm offset and a 50mm offset really that great? I'm torn between the OZ Ultraleggeras, The WedsSport SA-70s & TC005s, and the Enkei Rs Ms & Rpm2s.
Obviously, these wheels are not all 18x7.5 or 18x8, but a mix of both. On an 18x8, the offset would be more significant since you have 1/2" more (1/4" effectively) rim to move into or out of the wheelwell, no? Of the choices I listed, the WedsSports seem to be on the edge of the spectrum, SA-70s on one side and the TC005s on the other.
*SIGH*
Or should I just say, "Screw It" and get the wheel that I thinks looks best that is the most affordable and under 19lbs.?
