How hard to hook this up?

If the amp has speaker-level inputs all you have to do is wire it to the rear-speaker outputs of the factory head unit. If it doesn't have speaker-level inputs you will need to purchase a Line Out Converter (LOC) (check out www.davidnavone.com).

You also need to run a power cable from your battery to the amplifier. It's best to pick up an amplifier wiring kit.

i work at a car audio shop and i have a 3 4door. I was able to catch all my speaker wires in the passenger kick panel. I have two JL AUDIO amps and i was able to run them high level through RCA's. It is very easy to do but only if your amps have a high/low level input selector. The sound is great because you are getting alot of input voltage to your amps. If you dont have this feature you will have to do what chuyler1 suggested with the LOC. I would suggest getting an amplifier that has an external bass knob for more control.
