How good of a deal did you get on your P5?

I bought my 03 Protege5 auto with 75,xxx for $800. Need a bumper, drivers fender, hood, light and rad support. I feel it was a pretty good deal.

Just bought an 02 with 67k for $6500. :)

I read the timing belt needs replacement at 105k, but keep seeing mention of 60k replacement. Which it it?

207000 Miles ..... Paid $2900 - New tires, timing belt, waterpump done before purchase. Crossing My fingers!

I bought a 92 prelude Si for $2000 and flipped it for $3500 - Profit $1500

Bought the Protege 5 $2900 the same day I sold the Prelude. So basically cash out of pocket was $1400.

Again crossing my fingers

The crazy thing is the handling is just as good if not better then the prelude.

It's 105K.

Is this the P5 that looked clean but didn't feel great?

I had AAA check it out, and drive it way more extensively after. It drives well. I think I was just being way too gentle the first drive, because the owner tagged along.

Late to the party I see..
111k miles
5 speed
yellow w/some paint chips and body damage (scuffs, dings, cracked side marker light and front bumper)

Black Mica 2002 5sp P5 with the basic power stuff and a 6 cd dash unit. Paint's meh. One dent and a broken interior piece above the passengers rear wheel well but only 78k miles for $4500!

Vivid Yellow bought for 10k almost 2 years ago. Flawless condition, just rolled over 32,000 miles. Pretty much a new car and still smells like it inside.
