How fast does a 6s feel.

So the 04 is not a 6 spd manumatic? I didn't know that

yeah good call on that mikey, totally forgot about it, the '04 had the 5 speed auto that have been known to overheat, and overheat on an auto= quick death

the new 6 speed auto is MUCH nicer

5 speed auto tranny gets V8 gas mileage. Thats the other downfall I could think of. If you are serious about an intake, Cp-e was the only one that is guarenteed to not send a cel from driving it like you jacked it.

Is that even possible? That seems sooo cheap?

I know here they are offering $3500 cash back on remaining 06 models where I live. For a leftover Sport model, in my area it's very easy to negotiate, as you could get a brand new one for about $17-18k, less if you go with a manual. Heck, the Speed 6 sells for 21-22k now. I'm sure the car does feel heavy, since the Speed 6 feels and is very heavy. However, they are great daily drivers no doubt.

I'd look into it before spending $16k on a used 04 car with that many miles. That price is too high no doubt. There are much better deals out there. For possibly $2000, why would you buy a used 04 when you may be able to get a brand new 06. Definitely check out the market, and be patient, so you can get the best deal. :)

I had a 6 v6 as my rental and didnt like it at all. it is not comparable to the MSP in acceleration or handling. Maybe with a manual you could keep up a bit, but with the auto is felt like a mid 16 second car. Aside from sohc civics and escort lxs i dont see you beating much. The handling beats camry and accord, but that isnt saying much. jusy my opinion, drove it for 400kms. nice car though just not for me.

We have the 2 heaviest 6s, the 5-door and the wagon and we have a MSP to boot. Both of the 6s' are MTX and they handle extremely well, not as nimble as the MSP, but for what they are, they hold their own.

I would look more toward the 2005 w the 6 speed aut0, it is far superior the 5 spd Jatco auto in the 2004. If you do go that way, make sure you add a tranny cooler and you be even better off.

i almost bought a 5 speed manual 6s about a year back now. honestly i loved the way it drove. felt alot faster than it was. quarter mile wise its a solid 16 second car. its been a while since i drove an automatic 6 but i recall not liking them near as much.

working at the dealer, we saw the 6 in for service a fair amount. nothing major, one or two bad engines but honestly not near as bad as the turd Tribute.
