I am planning to buy a greddy typ s bov and know that there are stalling issues with BOV. What is the best way to prevent stalling. I have heard of dual setup and relocating the MAF. I would like to see some pics if any of you guys have used any of these setups. Which setup is best setup?

Thanks

this is my current dual valve setup, stock bypass valve and a greddy type rs bov..

Where does the other part of the bpv go I cant see it in the pic. Did you have to tap a line for the BOV? Do you have any stalling issues?

no stalling with the dual valve setup, most hardpipes have the option of having a flange put on from who ever makes them. the bypass valve connects into the air intake. i have the injen cai, in the last pic u can see it.

yea u can relocate the MAF to the cold pipe so it would go..throttle body--MAF--BOV--intercooler...then cap the bypass valve on the hot pipe and intake. then u wont get no stalling but some people it works fine for and other it makes the car run like s***...like always someone correct me if im wrong. but thats my understanding of it all. oh yea and theres always MrDiggler's setup

i would look on turbohoses - i was plannin on getting their hardpipes and upgraded smic this summer

i dont know who made mine possibly turbohoses, but the hardpipes are kinda useless without the SMIC upgrade with them. they are like 2.25" usually.

So Wbriggs after taping the brakebooster twice, one goes to the bov and the other goes to the bpv right? What do I do with the other vaccum hose that the bpv originally went to? By the way what is the size of your pipe for your bov?

Thanks

my hard pipes..i think are about 2" or 2.25", for the vacuum line..the stock bpv is T'ed into the wastegate vacuum line..i just replaced that whole line with new line cause the factory s*** sucks most of the time and starts cracking. (4th pick down at the throttle body u can see the 3 new hoses i ran) 1 for the bov, 1 for the bpv, and the 3rd replaces the stock wastegate vacuum source which i now have the boost controller between intake mani and wastegate. i just got my car back from being lowered so now im gonna build my FMIC in 2.5" piping

O.K. so the T has one hose for the wastegate, one for the bpv and one for the manifold. I just want to add a greddy bov s to my car. Do I just change the IC pipe that goes to the manifold? When I tap the breakbooster which hoses goes to it? Is it the bov and the bpv? If so then what do I do with the original T that the bpv went to, can I just block it?

well if ur running both u can just leave all the stock hoses there and just tap the breakbooster for the bov. but look at all the stock hoses to make sure none are ripped or dryrotted..and for the ic pipe i would do both..ive heard the stock ones crack or slip off while driving..

O.k. so with the greddy type s bov all I have to do is just tape the breakbooster and put the vaccum hose form the bov to the breakbooster right? What kind of adjusting do I have to do on the adjusting screw on top of the bov? Any input is welcome.

yup thats all...adjusting u just have to do as u go..i read somewhere on here about adjusting the screw. ud have to search. i just drove the car down the road about like a mile or so...stopped got out adjusted it, then came back down the road until i got it how i wanted.

All i have done to my MSP is just a CAI but i just got my greddy type rs blow off valve and i dont know where or how to install it. Can anyone help??
