how do i black out front emblems

hey i need everyones advise on how to blackout my emblems without making them look cheap

once you get you badges off (fishing line and a blow dryer)

i just hit mine with spray paint from walmart but they are allready chipping again so i suggest sanding priming painting and clear coat if you feel the need.

get them super clean, use krylon plastics paint, 3-4 coats, the first super light, next pretty light, the next moderate, and the final coat really thick, but careful not to over do it. then use the same method with krylon or duplicolor clearcoat. should look pretty sweet. painted my buddy's valve cover that way and it looks factory. except factory was black not metallic grey.

i recommend using plastidip in a spray can.... it isnt as glossy, but will not chip from rocks like paint will
