Hot Seats?

Hey, anyone else notice the extremely hot seats in the mid year additions for the CX-5 Touring even though the button isn't pushed or activated? Seems like the heating element gets warm all by itself.
Any recommendations? Maybe I could disconnect it. No need for heated seats in San Diego.

Maybe is your weather too hot, and make everything hotter. I heard south L.A will have 110+ degree or something, try to park somewhere with shadow and see will it happen again.

If your heated seats are on when not instructed to, you should take it to dealer for repair. If it's "extremely hot" this could even be a safety issue. Get it checked.

I live in South Florida, and have thought at times that my seat heaters were on when it was actually just the extremely hot ambient temperature also heating the interior of the car (this most commonly happens when I don't use my sunshield).

But, as everyone is wisely saying, definitely get it checked out if indeed it is the seat heaters turning on without the indicator lamp on and/or the switch flipped on.
