I just installed the triple dash gauge piece with black Glowshift 7 color series boost gauge, voltmeter, and oil pressure gauge. They all are working for their purpose, but I cant get the wiring right. i have a ground wire, constant 12 volt, and a switched 12 volt wire and i have them all wired into the factory head unit wiring, but every time i mess with my headlights or my dimmer switch the color resets on the gauges. Is this a usual thing that happens with these gauges? are there other more efficient wires to use to keep this from happening? oh and one other thing that happens is my voltmeter without headlights on reads between 11 and 12, but lights on it reads correctly up near 14. Sorry for the lengthy question, but any help is appreciated.
