Hood Prop Kit Installed!

wait, whats the issue with a CF hood? is the strut for a certain weight? because that'd work with my VIS CF hood... unless the strut would throw it up fast or something

CF hoods tend to bend over time. I've seen a few at shows where they just prop the hood up with the stock stand. You can see the warping of the hood when it's up on that one stand/leg (whatever..). When the hood is closed, you can see that it doesnt lay flat as it probably used to. Most people just use springs to prop the CF hoods up. They paint them the color of the car and throw em in the engine bay area.

actually yes, but havent really looked into it much.
