...unless Mr.Fusion also doubled as Mr.TwinTurbo and boosted the Delorean 's stock 130HP to like 300+!

My favorite is the Delorean from back to the future :)

True. I saw one of the ones used in the movie while in Universal Studios in Cali... damn, I was a kid (boom07)

Now, if you are looking for a couple of mods for the DeLorean, let's start with a good set of wheels :wtf:

the movie was weak, though i didnt mind looking at jessica. but boy, i was really pleased with how the general lee came out. Sounded incredible, looked as good as ever.

Its a car movie...which means the only thing you should critique is how well the car performed...how did the exhaust sound? how was the chase scene? were there lots of unrealistic explosions? ...oh and you can critique Jessica's boobs too...in which case the movie gets all 10s.

In the first two seasons of Miami Vice, Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) drove a Ferrari Daytona Spyder 365 GTS/4. Midnight black.

Guess what?

Well, not really. It was a Corvette that had been modified with Ferrari-designed body panels and real Ferrari hardware inside.

Now the good people at Ferrari were delighted by the brand getting so much attention, they just thought it would be SO much better if the car was actually a Ferrari. So they donated two of their very best, the Testarossa. (12 cylinders, 345 hp, 180 mph).

Originally, Ferrari North America delivered black cars but Michael Mann had them painted white for better contrast at night. The car in black can be seen in episode "When Irish Eyes Are Crying" (3.1) driven by an IRA gun. Later in the story, Sonny's black Ferrari Spyder gets blown up by the bad guys. In the next episode "Stone's War," he receives his new white Testarossa.

The use of the Testarossa in Miami Vice was such a boon to Ferrari sales, that Enzo Ferrari gifted Don Johnson with a 1989 silver version. That car was sold by Don Johnson at auction in 2003 for $88,560. Of interest, his 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda' Convertible from “Nash Bridges” sold at the same auction for $148,500.

+1...Friday nites, CBS 9pm...remember like it was yesterday. I still think that Dodge daisy had before that dredded Jeep was nice!

I remember the purple Cuda in the show Viper. Also that the Viper changed a bit in later season episodes to that off road machine.

"The Purple '1971 Cuda that was driven by Frankie in Season 1
is now owned by the Vehicle Coordinator of the show. The show moved
from California to Canada in 1995. In Season 2, Frankie drove a Purple
'72 Dodge Challenger. Frankie's 'Cuda340 returned in Season 3."

Correction on that Worst list. No way in hell did the Family Truckster have 200HP. Ford was lucky to get 150HP out of their early 80's V8s. In fact, Wikipedia confirms that the Ford LTD County Squire only had 150HP from 83-91. That makes sense because my 91 Grand Marquis still only had 150HP.

Just keep on mind that this was the Wagon Queen Family Truckster, a heavily modified vehicle to meet the Sports Wagon standards. Those extra 50hp would have been added so to carry aunts on the roof, drag dogs around, haul automatic pilot features... :D :D

But still, even the H.O. version of the V8 that was offered in the 1983 Ford Mustang only put out 175HP. No way the Truckster was putting down those numbers without a super charger or something. LOL "You think you hate it now, but wait until you drive it!"
