Exactly my point. Because there's no down draft of air flowing under the spoiler, air 'loops back' around causing the hatch to get dirty faster. If the spoiler had even a couple small gaps to allow air through, the hatch would stay much cleaner. Wonder if there's any way to modify the stock spoiler? hmmm...

that's the problem, you need to get the whole hatch repainted. Most of the people that have done this had work done to their car due to an accident or whatever so it made sense to do it then. It doesn't seem worth it to me until your hatch gets jakked.
