Hoen xenon match fog lights

Just ordered my Hoen xenon match fog lights from www.hoen-usa.com . Ill post pics once i get them in, it said they are backordered and should be in by the 27th of feb. Does anyone else use these? If so post some pics so i know what to look forward to.

I installed HIDs on mine last year. The installation is a piece of cake (i cant imagine your kit is much different than mine). The biggest pain in the ass is getting the stock bulbs out. The clip that hold the bulb in place is in an akward position and tough to unclip. I actually bent one of mine out of shape, buti was lucky the rubberfoam holds the new bulb in place because it was a bit bigger than the stock bulb. Other than that you have to find a good spot for your ballasts. i found a good spot to rund the wires through the side of the frame and used a lot of zip ties.

I think were talkin about sumthin different here. I just ordered new BULBS for my fogs. I already have the HIDs as my headlights. Do they make true HID fog lights???? (uhm) If so maybe ill have to get some.

This looks like another "blue tint" bulb scheme man. You can pick them up at Pep Boys for like half the cost I'm sure. Actual HID's will suit you much better.

hoen bulbs are actually pretty good. i know the solara guys like em as h11 is their low beam. im still waiting for my luminics yellow for my sisters 3.

but my friend with an 04 solara used the hoen's for about a year before i switched him over to HID's

thats a night and day difference. . .lol day at night

Ha, cool. well let me know how they look cause i would like to get some. i am not very impressed with the fog bulbs, they do work but they are not blowing my socks off. It may also have something to do with the RockBlocker pretection i put on them.

Ive heard good things about Hoen bulbs, and they were only like $29 + shipping for both bulbs. So its not that expensive. Ill take a pic with just one of them replaced and everyone can see the comparison.

Ya, that's all well and good, but I doubt they compare to HID's. Those pictures are doctored. They have to be, any halogen bulb (even an over wattage one) can't compare to HID's in intensity. (Measured in lumens of output.)

maxx mazda is right, the halogens cannot compare. i think im gonna get some of this bulbs for my high beams, just so i get rid of the ugly yellow light.
