sold..i just bought a polish AEM intake...i'll post pics as soon as i get..haha..picked up a magnaflow race series axle-back too...i will get some sound clips up as well!

Which style muffler did you end up getting?

Yea I met a kid with a ford focus in my town with a race series magnaflow w/ 4" tip...identical to mine...its a 2.0L motor..yea same as mazda..who knew? but definetly not daily driveable...the exhaust is wicked loud..sounds great..but absurdly loud...

He probably had larger piping / removed cats, resonator

na it was all stock..he just had them weld the muffler on..its just really droning and loud

Hey SpicyMchaggis,
let us know how the your muffler sounds. I wanted to go with the street series if the race series was too loud. Can't wait for my AEM intake to come, going to get a magnaflow muffler as soon as I can find one with a maximum of a 3 inch tip

Yea, I really only wanted a 3" tip..I'm not too worried about it though, I'm going to get the Mp3 trim kit for it..so it should hide it nicely..Yea, as soon as I get it all bolted/welded up..i'll put up some sound clips of the AEM SRI and the new axle-back..should be sweet!

all I know is that my race series is not too loud . . . I do like to be able to hear the exhaust note all the time

yea so do i...i know on his focus its just like crazy loud..its the same motor too..i mean..it sounds awesome..but i dont ALOT of highway driving..and it would just annoy me after a while

Hey Spicy, did your AEM get shipped yet? I was talking to one of the support people and they said it would be shipped today, I call in at 5:30 c, and they're telling me that it won't be sent until monday, ARGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!@$#%$#^#%$&^#%$&#%$^#%$^. yea sounddomain is a pack of bastards...im just loving adventon.com's 5-10 shipping policy..im not in the mood to pay 30$ for 2-3 day..such a rip off on shipping..my exhast is showing up like tuesday and the SRI should show up like thurs-fri
