hey guys just installed my hks but the smaller line of the two. (i think its the vacuum) theres a whistle which obviously notes a leak. the hose itself is bigger then the connector from the bov by a little bit. i bought the kit from a mazdaspeed6'r. is that whistle normal? is there a way to take the line that sticks out of the bov a little bit more? and does it really matter will i lose boost ect..? any quick easy fixes? yes the clamp is on there but its simply to big. im thinking maybe melt the hose down a bit?

Yah the hose with the HKS is a too big. The T it comes with is the right sizes, but you need to buy a smaller hose. The HKS is dependant on the vacuum line to function properly, so if it's leaking (when connected), it aint gonna release properly.....

the t? it comes with a t? i didnt get a t? flip what size hose do i need where do i buy it? freak man this is turning into a hour and a half project

You should've bought the MS3-specific kit. What you need is a 4 mm rubber hose. Try your local VatoZone or hardware store.

Sorry... I meant the air filter....
The air filter it comes with will adapt the stock vacuum hose, into the same size vacuum hose that fits the HKS... You'll still need to buy a smaller hose if it doesn't have it.

Below is a picture of the one I was selling last month. On the end of the hose, you'll see the air filter....

THIS UNIT IS SOLD

I guess you don't NEED the air filter.... but it does adapt the size of the hose. Melting it down should be fine. I'd recommend ziptieng the crap out of it though when it's connected. Again, the HKS is dependant on that vacuum line.....

yeah 3 zipties as tight as they'll go thanks so much for the fast reply's man =) and all your help
