The MS3 (don't know about the N/A ones) has the amplifier and coil built into the spark plug connector. To add this, you need major surgery.
actually to add this you just plug it in. it is a piggy back harness very simple to use.
It is more suited to big turbo and high boost guys.
Not meaning to start a war here, but I call BS. The thing on top of the plug contains an amplifier. The signal from the ECU is a logic signal. The description of the unit says "provides maximum voltage by transferring all stored energy in the capacitor to the ignition coil so that the ignition current can buildup quickly". Unless the unit includes new coils and caps for the plugs, it can't get to the coils because the stock amplifier is in the way. Maybe the ultra powerful signal punches right through the amplifier? Maybe it does include new coil/caps? The picture shows simply connecting between the ECU connector and the amplifier connector. This can't increase the energy. It can change timing and duration, but that's not what it says it does. I am not saying it doesn't work, just that it doesn't work the way it indicates in the description.actually to add this you just plug it in. it is a piggy back harness very simple to use.

Can you tell me more?
