ok i never work or seen a BOV before... my question is when i get my bov from street unit, how would i be able to tell if it's in recirculation mode and not the vta mode? thx

Below is a pic of my engine bay. See the stock BPV in the lower left? Notice it has two hoses (one thick, one thin) attached. The thick hose is for recirculating. If this hose is not attached, it's in VTA.

Here is hks vta....


see the hose is plugged that means all the air is Venting To Atmosphere.

When the hose is connected it is Recirculating the air.

when the really fat hose is disconnected from the valve, ur in vta mode. when it is connected ur recirculating the air back into the engine. usually the hks kit comes with a cap so u can cover the hose when u have it in vta mode, also dont forget to stick the vta fin, it adds alot of extra noise
