HKS Silencer

Im thinking of buying the HKS axel back, due to the low cost, and my inability to by a rb or ms axel back used, so i need to know from those who have it, does the silencer work? Is it still loud, or is it inaudible. Thanks Guys!

It works, Its still louder than stock. If your a highway driver it works best since it tones it down. But I've been driving without the silencer mostly and even with my daily commute on the freeway I hardly notice it being too loud. My girl friends don't notice it anymore themselves now.

yeh, you can barely hear it unless you're on the freeway but the radio can be heard more over than the drone. if you do decide to get a header though it'll sound more hollow almost to the point where it buzzes! the hks is such a nice exhaust that's why i bought it again but cheap on ebay for $130, but i think the ms exhaust is cheaper than the HKS if you can find one used. it's all about style when it comes down to it. i'm still waiting to come up with the funds so i can go to an exhaust shop and get a new midpipe welded. Around here it's about $80-120 w/glasspack. so good luck with your choice!
