hks exhaust and test pipe issues?

I just recently bought the hks hi power exhaust on another forum and i saw in the marketplace that a user is selling his new corksport test pipe because it didn't fit with the hks catback. does anyone know how that could possibly be an issue and if so, what test pipe will fit the exhaust?

From what I have heard, the Corksport test pipe only has issues mating up with the stock cat back. Worst comes to worse you can pick up a fresh donut gasket from your dealer and it should clear up any problems if they do arise.

my exhaust shop took the donut gasket off of the TP and cut off the little piping holding the gasket on. then welded in a smaller pipe to fit the stock donut gasket and it works just fine. you'll love the way the car sounds. i sure do! (evil)

thanks guysi just wanted to see what my options were for when i decide to get one, i plan on putting the exhaust on tomorrow morning and i hope it meets my expectaions.

I dont know how people with downpipes / test pipes get exhaust work done . . .

I had an exhaust leak I wanted checked out and 3 places turned me down because I had a test pipe (aka removed cat). I told them there was another cat on the downpipe but they still wouldn't even lift my car to help me find the leak.

i have a hks hi power exhaust and a cs tp and my fitment was fine.. idk why he had fitment issues thats wierd but it took me all of 20 mins to put it in just fine sounds ncie
