My HKS BOV's nipple is too long and the top of the BOV rubs on the ducting in my hood. Everytime I close my hood it pushes the vacuum hose down on the nipple and pokes a hole in it.
I had this issue as well, my fix was to make sure the HKS was angled flat enough to not cause the issue, you can always install a 45 degree elbow into the recirc tube in order to help the angle a little more. The best fix is an FMIC kit.
That's a VERY simple fix, just take all the little nuts and bolts off and reclock it so the nipple in on the bottom and not on the top..problem solved.
^^^^ never even thought of that, but that should work marvelously. Otherwise if you don't feel like doing that you can get a copper 45 degree plumbing elbow from like home depot or lowes.
