because alot of people from the forums are quik to judge and wont even hold the s*** talkin untill monday.I have no reason to lie! sayin this doesnt make me look good, It isn't even my car, Its someone elses that i dont even know!I just saw the video. It is a "friend of a friend" thing. talk s*** about me if I am braggin about MY car! my boys friends car.
 
shoulda just waited till you had proof, then posted it. i could care less either way, honestly.

his wife is goin to pop... he is a little stressed... give the man a break and wait and see if the video shows up, as i am sure it will as i see no reason why he would lie... good luck with the kid man....
 
I'm interested in this also.

The reason people would not believe this is because RX-8's are not fast. And even with FI they are still not very fast. They're not even made to be straight line speed demons in the first place. Their strong point is in handling/suspension/cornering. So if it's fast and in fact all-motor, then it would have substantial engine work done to it obviously. Not to mention the EMS is also a big complication in those cars. An aftermarket system would more than likely be required in a car with that kind of power.

So expect people to want and see proof of it.
 
It's just that a 10-11 sec car is a fairly steep claim. For something to exist w/o any sort of proof or back-up is just kinda lame. Why would you accomplish such a task and not have, or not want to share it any information that backs said claims?

I know it's not your car, but that kind of stuff should be readily available should someone ask it. Invite your friend's friend here so we can get some more info...

What kind of pwr would an 11 sec RX-8 need? 400, 500 whp??

lol, you guys are ridiculous. The guy makes a claim, then says that he doesn't have any proof to back up the claim yet, then states his reason for not having the proof, then states when he will have the proof. This sounds completely reasonable to me.

So if you think he's lying, then go away. This thread is of no value to you.
