Went to the parts store to check out the alternator and they said the starter was pulling too many amps. Pulled the starter(not a nice job) and bench checked it. Got a reading of @ 120-140 amps. Took it to another store with a tester and the starter tested good. Just need to know if amp reading is excessive or not. Don't want to reinstall old starter yet. Thanks
