For now I have the halogens, and since they illuminate much the angel eyes really stand out, plus it looks kinda cool with the white halos around the yellow light, but I do like the HIDs. But since these illuminate a lot, I dont know if they will 'cover' the halos glow.

What do you say? anyone has the HIDs (white6000k/blue8000k) with the halos?

HIDs and halos

Having the HID with the halo won't overshadow it as it's still coming from a projector housing. the lens will just be whitish instead of yellowish

I noticed that with my HIDs the projector looks more 'filled' for lack of better words. It definately does not overshadow the halos.

paid 360 shipped for an xtec kit. Got them from xenonexpert.com

They also have apexcone kits for 265 or so, and ive read alot of good stuff on the helios Hid kit. Wiring was really easy, plug and play, no need to find new grounds or run wires to your battery. Plugged into the factory harness.

Running wires to the battery is the safer way to run HID. But our harness can handle the power draw at startup so its not a problem

Draw of the xtec's = 35 watts. They have a 50 watt kit that does need to be ran to the battery etc.
I said startup my friend

btw I have the same kit ;)

Its cuz youre canadian (outie)

My mistake, I just glanced over it, missed the startup part. I wanted to get the 50w kit but I already have enough misc wires running around my engine bay. I cant imagine how bright they are. (shocked)

his not canadian, he's a canadji. And trust his word, he might know a few things about 'wiring'...
