$100 - Corksport Headlights
$165 Labor
$30 Carbon fiber material
$30 2x Wire harnesses

Here is a rough estimate of the rest
$175-$200 for projectors
$200 for bulbs and ballasts
$25-$50 for shrouds

I lucked out and I know a body guy that got me two full assemblies out of a benz.

Looking great Tom.

I'll have to check them out when I pick up the front lip. Taking the car out of storage in the next couple of weeks so it should be pretty soon. Just as long as we dont get another 15 inches of snow in WI.

Let's test them on my car!! Seriously, I will buy them! Do you know the approximate kelvin rating of the bulbs?

Nothing but OEM kelvin ratings 4100K - they have modified shields, so there will be plenty of color

oh i so want to get a set of these too. i already have HIDs that use the same socket as the stock lights so is it possible to leave the stock connecting ring in place when these are made?

You won't be able to use your current setup if you go the same route as Tom. Tom's components are all OEM. What you have is not what I would advise to anyone. Regardless, you have a rebased capsule setup that is not a standard HID base. If you went with a seutp like Tom's you will need to buy a full D2S capsule setup. You may be able to reuse your ballasts, but I would even advise against that.

What setup are you currently running?

company is jais i believe is how they spell it.
its is a true hid but its made with the same base ring so it can fit in the stock light w/o having to mod it.
had them 2 years not an ounce of trouble from them.

I did a quick search and that name doesn't bring up anything related to HIDs. IMO, anything other than phillips/hell or sylvania/osram is asking for trouble. Be happy you got 2 yrs out of that setup. If you go with a retrofit like Tom's, you will want to go full oem stuff and get rid of the kit you have.

care to share what kelvin rating you have?

my friend is retro-fitting HID headlights for his SRT4 and other peoples so im going to learn how to do it and then do it for my car and possibly other peoples car

heres photos of the box, content and bulb
