First off....this is in no means what I will term as my review of this kit....it will come and it will be long and exstensive and a long term review...

But for now..... WOW! After everything was in place and rechecked...I put in the key...and it started on the first turn!!!!

If "I" can install this kit...most of you can!!! Instant gratification...to hear everything come together in one turn of you hand...

I drove around my block (its 1:30am) and cautiously drove around for a bit...got back into the garage and rechecked everything...called up my fellow club member and went for a smoke and some quick converstation. Absolutely no problems whatsoever....it drives like stock when you are not into boost...but when it kicks in..I had to relearn how to manage my throttle....on the way home....i detoured onto the highway....and again...I was both nervous and excited at the same time....

Much thanks to Juan and Micheal at Hiboost....Deck'd and Pirana for your online help..and to a whole bunch of TOProtege.com members that came over to help/keep me company.

anways...I will stop rambling....i havent eatin in 10 hours...and I have work in 7 hours....so off I go...

Oh yeah...Im a looser...cuz in my excitement...i touched something really hot...my finger kills! LOL

congrats dude! your car is even more dope now o.O im all jealous >:-O haha peace - chris

Just a view that I already had uploaded...I promise more will come...but it will be on a seperate private website...

Thanks for the words...guys...it is appreciated...

No real order....

alright, man, glad to hear, but Iam dissapointed that you didnt tell me,hehehe :D Check your oil lines, also check your intercooler discharge pipe hose coupler, with the shifting of the engine they can come undone if not properly tighten.

YEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

congrats

good luck i'm very psyched on that kit. Heard NOTHING but praise. Lets see some more pics and some dyno numbers.

Dyno is scheduled for next week...thursday. I want to make sure everything is good for a proper pull. I will also be doing a wideband analysis during the runs.....it will come!

At last I see I'm not the only one with a garage packed full of crap (I don't mean the car).

Some of the pics people post show an empty garage. . .I just don't get it! :D

Looks good man. . .

Can't wait for the dyno results on pump gas.

Did Pirana dyno? Or is he just using Juan's numbers (calculated back to bhp from whp)? Where's that dyno sheet? Enquiring minds want to know!

I dynoed mine last week, did 239.8 whp on 10psi. That calculates to 304bhp with a 21% tranny loss.

My garage is empty 'cause I got a shed for all the crap!!!!

21-22% is about right.....for drive train loss...this is based on various dyno's I have seen over the last 2 years......it'll never be an exact science....IMO.

It was on 93 octane on a surface dyno. The people at Dynomax say that surface dynos post less numbers than chassis dynos.

the loss I just guesstimated by calculating 130bhp from factory to 102whp at the same dyno. Hence a 21% drivetrain loss. Not exact, but just fun numbers.
