HiBoost Turbo install Part II

You mean how long did I waited to put the pedal to the metal? I havent do it yet. Just enough to get the 6-7psi. Probably will full test run this coming weekend.

wow man...sounds good...i can't wait for some 'real' people to start the r n d of a hiboost kit....it can't be perfect...theres gotta be a flaw somwhere...it just all seems to good to be true...and I have faith that if levels of boost, and the fuel is there, that spool and Fm would have already known this....even when I had my car tuned...I was running fairly high fuel pressure...and I had two extra injectors to help alleviate the fuel needs

YEAH POST NUMBER 1000!!! so am I a usefull member of the board...or are my posts a waste?:D

i want to go, id love to feel a fast p5, lets meet at cicis friday night, i dont have to work

did you break in the turbo before you started bo0stin? just wondering

you dont really have to break in a turbo, you do have to prime the motor before starting it...

you should not boost until the car is warmed though, or you MAF is cold and will "bog".

hey pirana, you get on it yet!? :D

Eliminate all possiblilities of Murphy's law happening and biting you. Besides, any mechanical contraption with moving and/or rotating parts at high speeds should have a breakin period.

The show or Cici's. The show is saturday at 10:00am and if I go to Cici's, around 9:30pm

Now which filter looks better....the K&N or the Greddy

I'm a K&N guy but I'd have to go with the greddy because it matches better. (You need a new red coupler for the MAF as well.) And. . .oh yeah, that s*** is awesome!

Yeah, there is a shortage of 2.75" couplers at Thermal Flex, they are moving to a new location and have a couple of items in back order. I'am waiting for them to ship it.

Piraa,

I just have to say, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

That looks awesome. Nice work! It was worth the wait.

Enjoy it. BTW, the red coupler is on the way and you should see it today.

Juan.

Pirana....how hard was it to take apart the IHI turbo? Did you do it yourself? I too want to get mine coated......

BTW...your engine bay looks great!

BAD ASS VIC SIMPLY BAD ASS!

congrats!! we need to get all the boosted p5s on a road trip...
