Hiboost Kit with CAI +1psi +spools 400rpms quicker

This was being done as an experiment to help minimize my stalling when sitting in traffic by hacking up my old AEM short ram. A/C running full blast cooling fan kicks on and blow the hot air from the turbo towards the intake; hot air + voltage drop from aftermarket fan = stall. So far, so good but since I did it it hasn't been quite as hot outside so time will tell.

What I wasn't expecting was that I am now hitting 11psi from 10 and it's at full boost in every gear 400rpms sooner from about 3800rpms down to about 3400rpms. It sure is a long distance for the air to travel across all that piping but I am extremely happy.

I couldn't be happier with my Hiboost Kit. I have about 65k miles on it most of them at 10psi and now up to 11. I have a J&S Safeguard which keeps my confidence up and income tax I will be building the motor and tranny and turning it up just a tad!! If anything the throttle response is better with the more dense air. I am waiting for a real hot day to get a good comparison.

Wish I had a job that taxed me so I could justify spending that much money. I get pai under the table and when I did work with tax it felt like christmas when it was time for taxes.

Income tax for me brings around $5k since I am raising my 2 boys by myself. Thats the only way I can do anything. I am always broke except that time of the year.

Still no stalling and power is still an amazing difference even in the middle of the day when super hot out.
