Yes, but Pirana was boosting 12 psi and 240WHP. I'd say 6 to 7 psi on stock exhaust is fine for automatics.acidbbg said:

a couple of questions for you SHAG, what other things did you have to buy in order to install the kit? any special kind of tools, or would anyone's regular set of tools work? Are there tools that can make the job easier? I plan to get the Hi-Boost kit in the next year or so. I want all the info I can get. Thanks! =)

The only special tools you need are a couple of hole saw (2.5" and 3") to run the intercooler pipes and a 3/4" drill bit or hole saw to make the hole for the oil return line. Before you needed a special drill and tap to make the coolant sensor hole and thread but the new kits come with a special casting with the hole and thread already made for an even easier installation. Also the new F10 software is windows compatible.Kauai Dave said:

Having some air tools are "nice to have"...but hand tools will do JUST FINE!
The only tool that I had to buy...was a hole saw...it simply attaches to your drill.
Outside of this...you are good to go. The downpipe and "L" pipe connects directly to the stock exhaust. Everything is so well engineered...to fit perfectly.

We are getting the new F10s next week which have more output options and have windows based software instead of DOS. I already have the windows software for the E6X and its just great. 3 dimensions is a lot easier to tune.YP5 Toronto said:

If you stay at 6 psi, it will last for very long. Most people will tend to raise the boost. It is addictive.Khoifather said:
