Yes, but Pirana was boosting 12 psi and 240WHP. I'd say 6 to 7 psi on stock exhaust is fine for automatics.acidbbg said:not to good..pirana had an auto p5..and he had many tranny issues...so he sold his kit..and bought an STI.

I remember I spoke to juan once and he told me they have, I think you have to ask for it.gimpo2 said:i got blue couplers with my kit too... but they were all blue i didn't get an oddball red one by the cone filter
Shag can of course answer this, but just to help him out, Pirana has a site with a how to on the install with beautiful pictures check it out.Kauai Dave said:a couple of questions for you SHAG, what other things did you have to buy in order to install the kit? any special kind of tools, or would anyone's regular set of tools work? Are there tools that can make the job easier? I plan to get the Hi-Boost kit in the next year or so. I want all the info I can get. Thanks! =)
The only special tools you need are a couple of hole saw (2.5" and 3") to run the intercooler pipes and a 3/4" drill bit or hole saw to make the hole for the oil return line. Before you needed a special drill and tap to make the coolant sensor hole and thread but the new kits come with a special casting with the hole and thread already made for an even easier installation. Also the new F10 software is windows compatible.Kauai Dave said:a couple of questions for you SHAG, what other things did you have to buy in order to install the kit? any special kind of tools, or would anyone's regular set of tools work? We are getting the new F10s next week which have more output options and have windows based software instead of DOS. I already have the windows software for the E6X and its just great. 3 dimensions is a lot easier to tune.YP5 Toronto said:Juan.....is the new software for the F10?
If you stay at 6 psi, it will last for very long. Most people will tend to raise the boost. It is addictive.Khoifather said:SO as long as we don't go higher then 6PSI, the auto tranny will be fine for a long long time?
What kinda horsies would you be lookin at hanging out at 6 psi ? I would love one too but, don't wanna blow anything up either........HiBoost TS said:If you stay at 6 psi, it will last for very long. Most people will tend to raise the boost. It is addictive.
