Oh hi there! I'm Mike, I like to bike and hike.
...
Actually, I don't much care for either of those, it just makes for a cute introduction. Anyways, I'm one of those people who are usually pretty active on Internet forums, and luckily for me, I found this site! It seems really active and helpful for all of my questions.
Anyways, for the first time in my entire life I now own a car I am not embarrassed of. I owned a '94 VW Golf GL, then a 98 Saturn (complete with rotted out power window motors, so I ziptied the windows shut). Add the lack of AC, and you can imagine how the summer has gone.
I just purchased an '02 P5 with 117xxx km on it, however it is in perfect shape. It came with aftermarket brakes and rims(though I don't know what brand....I pick up the car on Tuesday from Bank Street Mazda in Ottawa, and they'll have all that information for me), heated seats were put in, and the switches are where the cigarette tray was, so no smoking in the car! (bonus!).
I think the first order of business involves getting all that window trim off, as well as the rediculous bug deflector haha.
Here's a picture of it! Tuesday cannot come soon enough. It's supposed to be 30 degrees here or more all weekend, so driving around in the saturn is going to be a nightmare.
